The reason that the Tschichold grid is so important is because it teaches us that regardless of the page size, with a 9x9 grid with the text-block 1/9th from the top and inside and 2/9ths from the outside and bottom. This allows us to always have the perfect page. Jan Tschichold has set rules that will be followed for many years.
